Daging Masak Hitam

[Beef with Spiced Black Sauce]
INGREDIENT A
- 500gm meat (sliced thinly)
- 2 stalks of lemon grass (pounded)
- 2 cups of water
- 5 tbsp thick soy sauce
- 1/2 cup tamarind juice
- Salt to taste
- 5 tbsp cooking oil
- 3 tbsp Rempah Masak Cap Bunga Rose
- 2 tbsp kerisik (toasted coconut paste)
INGREDIENT B
(blend finely)
- 15 pcs dried chili
- 10 shallots
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 3cm ginger
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
- Heat oil and sautee lemongrass, INGREDIENT B and Rempah Masak Cap Bunga Rose until fragrant.
- Add meat and water. Cook until meat is tender.
- Add soy sauce, tamarind juice, kerisik and salt. Mix well.
- Cook until the sauce is thick and glistening.
- Ready to serve.
