Kuih Batang Buruk

INGREDIENTS

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Toast Serbuk Kacang Hijau Cap Bunga Rose without oil on low heat in a big pan. Set aside and let it cool.
  2. Cut the popiah skin/phyllo sheet into 1 inch width strips and roll each strip on a straw or your finger to create hollow tubes. Seal the end with egg white or water.
  3. Fry until golden and leave to cool on a strainer to remove excess oil.
  4. Mix the toasted Serbuk Kacang Hijau with sugar and use the mixture to coat each fried tubes thoroughly.
  5. Enjoy immediately or keep in an airtight jar.
