Kuih Batang Buruk

INGREDIENTS
- 1 pack of popiah skin/phyllo sheet
- 400gm Serbuk Kacang Hijau Cap Bunga Rose
- 10 tbsp fine sugar
- 1 egg white, optional
- Oil to fry
INSTRUCTIONS
- Toast Serbuk Kacang Hijau Cap Bunga Rose without oil on low heat in a big pan. Set aside and let it cool.
- Cut the popiah skin/phyllo sheet into 1 inch width strips and roll each strip on a straw or your finger to create hollow tubes. Seal the end with egg white or water.
- Fry until golden and leave to cool on a strainer to remove excess oil.
- Mix the toasted Serbuk Kacang Hijau with sugar and use the mixture to coat each fried tubes thoroughly.
- Enjoy immediately or keep in an airtight jar.
